I
returned to South Africa in December of 1998 and worked in conservation
at the Peace Parks Foundation and Conservation International. My
focus was the communities living in the transfrontier areas and
in particular, the bringing of economic benefits and improved standards
of living resulting from conservation to these communities.
More recently, I have become involved again in merchant banking
activities with colleagues in Johannesburg and London including
mergers and acquisitions, private equity and strategic advisory
activities.
