Mikkel Gudsøe
Mikkel Gudsøe is an expert in negotiation, body language and dispute resolution and an experienced teacher at international and national level. He also works as a Chief Attorney responsible for International Trade, Intellectual Property Rights and Mediation at the federation Danish Fashion & Textile. Mikkel is an external lecturer in Legal Negotiation at Master´s Level at the University of Aarhus, School of Law (Business & Social Sciences) and has given master classes and seminars all over the world.
Paul Meerts
Paul Meerts is Senior Research Associate at the Clingendael Institute. He combines this with his position of Visiting Professor in International Negotiation Analysis at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Since 1983, Paul has worked in a number of roles at Clingendael: Head of Training and Education , Deputy Director and Special Advisor to the Director of Clingendael. In the past twenty five years he trained diplomats, civil servants and military officers in a hundred countries worldwide. Paul is active in the field of International Negotiations as Member of the Process of International Negotiation (PIN) Steering Committee and Member of the Advisory Board of the Journal of International Negotiation. He is also a Founding Member of the Netherlands Negotiation Network, where he is also a Member of the Steering Committee.
Jack Williams
Jack Williams is a Doctoral candidate in Political Philosophy at the University of Zürich. He holds a Bachelors in Politics with International Relations and a Masters in Political, Legal and Economic Philosophy. Jack is the President and founder of the Global Negotiation Conference and has designed and led negotiation simulations on Pandemic Influenza, Climate Change and the Ebola Pandemic.
Thomas Zeltner
Thomas Zeltner is the former Secretary of Health of Switzerland and Director-General of the Swiss National Health Authority (1991-2009), has a long history as an innovative and progressive leader in public health. He currently serves as Special Envoy of the World Health Organization (WHO) on WHO’s engagement with non-States actors. In this capacity he advises the Director General of WHO Margaret Chan in critical areas of the current reform of this UN agency (how to cooperate with NGO’s, philanthropic organizations, academia and the private sector without compromising WHO’s integrity; how to better align WHO’s priorities with the resources available to finance them). He is a member of the board of Interacademy Medical Panel (iamp) and of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. Since 1992, he has been Professor of Public Health at the University of Berne and is a Visiting Scientist at the Harvard School of Public Health (Boston).
Sibylle Zürcher
Sibylle Zuercher is a Professor of Negotiation and Conflict Management a the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Sibylle studied Physics at the ETH Zurich and obtained a diploma (MSc.) in 2008. She wrote her thesis under the supervision of Prof. Guenther Dissertori at the Institute for Particle Physics on the "Analysis of W-&Z-Boson Production at LHC". This was followed by a Doctoral dissertation in climate modeling at the Institute for Climate and Environmental Physics at the University of Bern under the supervision of Prof. Fortunat Joos and Prof. Hubertus Fischer ("Methane Emissions and Isotopes of Northern Peatlands in a Global Vegetation Model"). Her interests include mathematical modeling, scientific programming / simulations, game theory.
