Christian S. Trenk

Christian Trenk has a background in Philosophy, Theology and Political Studies, having studied in Germany and the United Kingdom and holds a Master's degree in Theology. After some time as an advisor on Christian-Islamic relations and in Public Sector Consulting with one of the Big Four consulting firms, he currently works at the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt where he also pursues a doctorate on the fundamentals of dialogue. Further interests include ethics-based negotiations, peacebuilding potentials of religions and win-win negotiations as well as Tolkien Studies, even when unrelated to negotiation. Christian attended the Global Negotiation Conference 2017 as a participant and has been involved with the Conference’s organization since 2021, currently serving as the conference’s Project Coordinator. He has been Head of Operations of the Institute for Global Negotiation since 2023.
